As expected, he really loves it! Grinning from ear to ear when the first tune of Release Me vibrates through the house. Hehe. He was watching tv while I secretly turns on the cd player.

Pulang dari Port Dickson malam sebelumnya. Selsema dan demam sampai sakit-sakit kepala. And it's Sunday! Huhu. Nasib baik baru balik dari NS bukannya US. Kalau tidak sungguh akan kena kuarantin. Ceh, perasan. Uhuk..uhuk

Planning to buy birthday present for ayah. Hmm, I want to give something which he really wants. Then I remembered my father's request for me to download Engelbert Humperdinck songs from the internet for him. It's his favourite singer eversince I can remember. I grew up listening to his songs too.The cassette is so worn out from repeated playing. Great singer, great songs. You must have heard him. (e.g: Release me, Can't take my eyes of you, What a wonderful world, Quando quando quando, Have I told you lately) And I found the greatest hits cd at the local supermarket. Yey! Can't wait to surprise my old man=)

Port Dickson

The journey continues from Tapah. There's my beautiful mother with her new handbag while we're waiting for my father. After spending 3 more hours on the road, we finally arrived at Seremban. We head straight to Port Dickson were my cousin's already waiting at the hotel. Of course, now I can see the Minangkabau roof everywhere but interestingly so is the tol plaza's roof. Hehe.

It was nearing sunset by the time we reached the beautiful beaches. The timing was perfect but as much as I tried to persuade my father to stop and let's enjoy the sunset, he wouldn't listen. He's really anxious to reach the hotel before dark. In the end I managed to capture few picts and please forgive the quality as they were taken from inside a moving car=p

We stayed at Kondominium Peranginan TNB and what an impressive place! It's huge with three bedrooms in each unit complete with kitchen and fridge. It can accommodate up to three family and even more if you don't mind sleeping in the hall (which is enormous with sofas and carpet), that's saving cost. Our unit is facing the sea but since it's already dark, I could only enjoy the sound of the crushing waves. Couldn't wait till morning arrived to enjoy the view of the sea. And thanks to the bride to be who's a staff of TNB, we get to stay here for free.

It's past midnight, guess I'll go to sleep now. Feeling so tired from the long journey. Nite!

Journey talks~

I'm in Tapah! Heh=p Currently with my family on our way to Port Dickson for my cousin's wedding tomorrow. Now 'lepaking' in a foodstall waiting for my father as he went for Friday solat at a nearby mosque, while sipping ice lemon tea and attempting to write this in the heat of the afternoon and sloww internet. Unable to connect using 3G here (bersyukur dengan apa yang ada=p)

Tapah is not a stranger town for me. When I worked in Teluk Intan before at a private practice, I used to pass by here when I went home once in a month. It's a small town, only few rows of shop. Here in Tapah also is where the new female prison is located. I think there's no hotel here, just one resthouse available which looks creepy. But the good thing about Tapah is it's very near to Cameron Highland and in fact it's so near that sometimes when I drive here after work (which is usually after 6pm) the fog is thick and the atmosphere is misty and cold and I felt like I really am in Cameron already. There are houses here built on higher ground, houses which looks like English colonnial building. They must be very old houses and interestingly each houses has it's own sign at it's driveway with unique name.

I'll post some pictures if I'm able to capture some on our way later. But right now, I myself have to go and pray. Hehe. See ya!

A day of rejuvenation~

It's Tuesday, had a fulfilling lunch, finished seeing patients early, started drafting my script as MC for tomorrow's eyecourse, and I'm bored. So, let's bloghopping! (Bos, jgn baca ye) Hehe=p Lately I've been browsing all those blogshop which sells clothes, scarf, shoes, authentic designer handbags. Some brand new and some are used item. But they really offer a variety of good stuff. I must say that they're very tempting. I also noticed that one of the reason I always clicked the link to these blogs is because of their cute and catchy advert link. So it always comes to our mind when we see pretty picts used for the link, interesting name or slogan or beautiful layout of the website that the products they sell must be as interesting too. Hmm, good marketing strategy=p

Last Sunday, we (me and my sisters) had a great time pampering ourselves and our beloved mother at the spa. It was a surprise gift for my mother. (She only guessed it right what her surprise gift was when I parked nearby the spa) There were four of us and luckily we've made early reservation because otherwise they're fully booked for the day. It's my first time actually. Before, I've never really believe in the idea of spending money in spas, salons or boutique whatsoever. Yes, I'm stingy when it comes to money. I'd rather invest in good books or foods. But after my one day experience, I feel that it's not that costly after all. It's one way to reward yourself once in awhile and to just relax enjoying a massage or a relaxing sauna. Besides, most of the services offered are affordable and to go once a month won't burn a hole in your pocket. Err..my pocket. Ngee~

Well, my mother really enjoyed herself and she even fall asleep during the body massage. Talk about relaxation. Hehe. I myself finds it very rejuvenating and yeah, I will come again. Perhaps for a 'mandian hydrotherapy', whatever that is. Hiks=p

Ok, back to my script. Otherwise I'll be babbling nonsense tomorrow. We're having a two days eyecourse specially for medical officer and paramedic from the north zone of Perak. No clinic for two days! Woohoo! I only have to give a talk on one topic and a practical session to tend to. Er, that's just it=p
