Everything about this song is great. Love the music, love the lyrics, love the voice and the upbeat.

Everything about the video clip is great too. Love the art, love the story, love the feeling.

Hey, soul brother

"You're the only one I'm dreaming of you see

I can be myself now finally

In fact there's nothing I can't be"

~of wedding

It's nearing May now and I guess I should reaaally focus on my wedding preparation. My, how time flies. So I've been googling and blog walking around. Suddenly I realised that I am not even 20% close to preparing for my wedding! It's really a shock to see the extent of preparation done by some people months before their wedding. Huu, there's not so much that I know about weddings. Of course la since this is the first wedding in the family right.

I did download a wedding countdown checklist provided by Discovery Channel Home and Health. According to it, I should now already:
  • select a date - done!
  • compile guest list - halfway!
  • check the legal requirements and any documents that will be required - halfway!
  • select and book photographer - done!
  • decide on the type of catering, reception menus and book the caterers - not yet!
  • make sure all bridal attire is ordered and fittings booked in - not yet!
  • choose outfits for the groom, bridesmaid, bestman, close family- not yet!
  • choose and order wedding rings - not yet!

Huu. See, see..

Than I found this very useful info about veil.

If you're shorter than 5' 4" you should select an elbow length veil (30" long). If you are taller than 5' 7" you should select a fingertip-length veil (36" long). If you are in between these heights, you could go with either length depending on your personal taste.

I see. Now, what about the color, fabric, style or cutting? (And this is just veil we're talking about)

Aku stress.

Simple Things

[1] Flowers are great. Sweet. Beautiful. I just love the way it lit up my room. A pleasant to the eye. [2] Simple things make me happy. As simple as fresh flowers. It's a vow that I'll always place them in the house from now on. [3] Cooking is simple. The rules are not rigid. It lets you explore you creativity. I believe cooking is an art itself. And again, it makes me happy. [4] There are many simple things that we don't give that much thought. As for me, I want to pick up on those simple things that I like. Life is a journey. Along the way, I want to take time and smell the roses.

House Keeping

I am super busy this weekend. The house has just finished renovation and what a mess! I'm so glad though it's over. For the past few weeks I feel like I'm living at a construction site. The noise, the piling stuff at the hall to vacant the kitchen which is the main part renovated, and most irritably the dust! This dust don't keep put. They seeped through every nook and crook and under my closed bedroom door making my life miserable. So here we are cleaning and dusting and rearranging. Yay! The house is clean and gleaming again. No more slippers inside the house.

It's lucky that I have another day off today. It's the birthday of Perak's handsome Sultan (He's really very handsome, so is his son and his grandson) *Grin. Cleaning the house has took all of my time and I wouldn't mind at all had not I have to prepare a slide presentation for an eye course which deadline is tomorrow. And I just know I had to make it last thursday. Urgh.

I love playing with Powerpoint though. Each time I actually couldn't wait to finish drafting the points and datas so that I could concentrate on the layout, colour and design. Sometimes when I get stucked or become too bored, I even do that first. Hehe. My style has been smart and simple. I also didn't put too much words. That would be crowded. It's what powerpoint are after all. Jot important points and explain during the presentation. Then no flowery doodly though because these are work related and it would have to look proffessional yet not boring. With Vista the possibilities are endless. So I could really spend hours exploring the many options and the differences it made.

I'll be presenting the topic of 'The importance of early screening'. It's really a very interesting subject considering the impact of delayed detection of visual problem especially in children. Maybe I'll write a post about it. But for now, I have to go back and finish it. See, I am stucked and bored just now. Or maybe I should touch up the 'thank you' slide first. *Grin. Again.

Ilmu Kahwin

Ilmu mana paling seronok dipelajari? Meeeestila .....Hehe. Ala, dua-dua pun seronok.

Jadi saja mahu kongsi pengalaman pertama kursus kahwin saya. Jadi pergi sekali saja cukuplah. Tapi kalau rasa rajin mahu menuntut lebih, pergilah berulang kali di merata tempat pun. Tiada siapa larang.

Saya memang cerewet sikit.

Kursus kahwin checked! Moving on! Hihi ;)

:: Cantiknya Masjid Negara itu. Sayang betul kamera tertinggal. Isk2..

.:Tempat Idaman:.

Greece. Unik sangat. Berdepan laut biru cemerlang pula menjadikan pemandangan itu sungguh hebat. A heaven for great photography experience I must say.

Boleh rewind balik kadang-kadang dan pause semata-mata nak drool over the lovely buildings. Tengoklah Mamma Mia, Sisterhood of Travelling Pants dan juga Chalte Chalte. Eheh.

Cantiknya. Bersihnya. Hidup macam carefree sangat. Kemudian gembira sangat dapat tengok interior of the white houses dalam Sisterhood of Travelling Pants. Selama ini asyik tengok luaran saja. Bahagian dalam pun cantik and sweet. Hehe. Dalam cerita itu Alexis minat melukis. Jadi dia banyak duduk lepak-lepak dalam bilik putih cantik atau dekat balkoni putih cantik sambil melukis. Saya pula berangan kalau saya di situ, pasti sedang lepak-lepak baca buku. Ah, tenangnya.

Stark white and blue. Cantik!

Cantik kan!

Huu, cantiknya.

Tengok! Macam mana mereka buat rumah ini.

Ini impian saya. Doa ada rezeki lebih. Satu hari saya pasti pergi. InsyaAllah.

:: Gambar-gambar semua di'google'. Minta izin ye tuan punya.
