I arrived on Friday straight from Penang. My man works here and Deepavali is not a public holiday here. So the evening after I arrived he held a small high tea for his colleagues at the clinic. And we got more wedding presents!
I've just realized that I'm a bad documenter. So many things have been happening in my life and some just pass away without words as memory. There are photos, yes. But with words we'll get the whole picture. Heck, I've been as far as New Zealand and I didn't have a proper journal on it. What a waste. I am determined more than ever now to jot down all the experience, memories, excitement, and the ups and downs life has to offer me. I wish to do this so that one day when I'm old and all shriveling but still acceptably pretty, while sipping lemon tea in my garden, I'd get to reminisce my life with my old and all shriveling but still handsome husband by my side.

Looks fun enough already? So what is the thing?
Tadaa! This is Mr Fuji. Our new instant camera which develops mini prints instantly promising instant fun! Cool huh. Check it out here.
I absolutely had no idea that polaroid still exists. Thanks to hubby for finding out about this cutie. Well, this isn't exactly polaroid. But it is the closest to instant film photography. Wait a minute. It is instant film photography! Isn't it exciting?! I love to watch the film develop before my eyes.
My first option was the Fuji Instax Wide Instant Camera because the film would be bigger. But upon seeing the monstrous and bulky size of it, I don't think I could carry it everywhere easily. So we bought the Instax Mini instead. Turns out the credit card size film is not so much a drawback. We absolutely love it!
Stick it anywhere. Make a scrapbook. Be creative. It's limitless fun!

I can still feel the beating in my chest waiting for the aqad moment. I can still taste the sweetness of the moment we’re solemnized as husband and wife. I can still feel the fluttering of my stomach holding his hand for the first time. I blushed shyly remembering his first kiss on my forehead.

We had a simple yet sweet and romantic wedding. I feel like a princess united with her prince. It didn’t have to be grand, I don’t need that. What’s important is we’re celebrating our love with family and friends being there.
I pray for the eternity of our union. I pray for His blessing throughout our life. I pray our love growing stronger as we love Him together. I pray for the bliss of our journey together. I pray and I pray.
I’m just back home from his town. I’m back to my own hometown. Back to our love nest, previously just my room, which feels lonely now because he is not here with me. We are yet waiting the posting transfer result. The only soothing fact is my parents are here with me.

Everything about this song is great. Love the music, love the lyrics, love the voice and the upbeat.
Everything about the video clip is great too. Love the art, love the story, love the feeling.

Hmm, being engaged means that now I have to prepare myself with the coming responsibilities. I have to learn more and improve myself especially on 'hukum hakam' either syariatullah or sunnatullah. Hopefully I'll be able to do that. It's a lifelong learning after all.

It's been 6th days since Aidilfitri. He came today with his parents to 'beraya'. Turns out it was more than that. Such a sweet surprise. I couldn't help blushing. No, I'm not engaged yet. This is just the first step. I'm still happily smiling, looking at the first ring. =) Monday, September 14, 2009

If I had a single flower for every time I think about you,
I could walk forever in my garden.
